A solar energy storage battery, acquired with the support of the EEN, helps a Romanian food industry manufacturer reduce its energy costs
Romanian food producer Silver Rom Agro had invested in solar panels but was unable to store surplus electricity for use outside daylight hours. With tailored Enterprise Europe Network advice and an EENergy grant, it added battery storage to its renewable energy system. During the first seven months of 2026, the combined solar-and-storage system supplied around 69% of the company’s electricity.
